Increased Democratic Support?

Ok. This is great news for federal races & national issues. But how does this translate down the ticket?

What we’ve seen in rural counties is that the support for democratic candidates in state level (think Assembly & Senate) races and down the ticket drops drastically. Why is that?

This is what Rural Majority is hyper-focused on. How can democrats be competitive in down ballot races that are not tied to the hip of national policy?
